 protective skin for i-touchAug 12, 2009
Great idea but I personally found it a bit difficult to apply. This could be completely my fault. I still recommend it.

After several months of use this product will peal up in the corners and attract lint from your pocket to the point where it looks gross and you have to trim it. Also this material is a lot easier to scratch than the ad-copy states. After about 3 months I had a huge gash down the center front cover (did not make it through to the screen) that generally made me embarrassed to show my ipod to anyone. Upon removing the item I did notice several scratches on the back of my ipod that had not been their previously as I installed this item prior to use.
In retrospect I would have to recommend against this product and recommend you get a case that protects that back of the unit and some cheap screen cover if you like (you can get both of these items for less than $5 if you know where to look and they will serve you just as well if not better).
Also it is extremely hard to install and as you only get one cover, you only get one chance.

Ar first I was a little put back by the price but let me tell you this is the best BEST shield I have ever owned! I have no air bubbles and My Ipod is so well peotected i could drag it across a road and it would still be scratchfree! I'm not gentle to my gagets and I'm soo for this product that I'm putting these bullet-proof shields on everything I can! I've had my shield on for over a year now and it's just now coming off a bit on one small edge so I'm buying another one. My husband is about to buy an ipod touch and I told he he wasn't allowed to unless he buys this shield for it too! With other skins or shields they do not cover the curved edges of the touch but this one does! My sides are as new as the back. Also I removed my screen shield because it needed to be replaced and it left no residue at all, my ipod screen looks like the day i got it out of its package! This shield really sticks like it's a part of the ipod so don't worry about it coming off, like I said it's been over a year and my shield is just now coming up a tiny bit but thats only because i rub the edge with my thumb as habit.
