I searched online for a good case w/ lanyard to hold my new ipod nano. This product has worked out well for me.
1. it has a zippered compact travel case, great for putting the nano, earbuds into your workout bag for the gym without tangling everyting up.
2. The case that fits on the nano itself IS snug but allows you to remove it if need be and also to access all ports while it is on. It is sturdy leather (or something like leather) and pretty durable.
3. it comes with a nice neck lanyard and the back of the nano case has a loop to slip a belt through.
4. It looks classy and masculine, especially with my black nano. a lot of other skins were in garish colors or flimsy appearance.
CAVEATS:
The only caveat I would give is if you are getting this with a brand NEW ipod nano, DON"T remove the factory plastic face strip on your nano and try to replace it with the one that comes with the isnug. instead, get an exacto and trim off the tab on the factory face film, that will look the best. There's nothing wrong with the isnug provided film except that there's no way you can get it on without a bubble or two, so its not as good aesthetically as the factory applied film.
HOWEVER, if you've already removed the factory film, the best advice on applying the isnug protective film is to make sure the surface is clean and free of fingerprint oils (a cleaning cloth is provided), position it VERY CAREFULLY, because the fewer times you reposition it the better, and then used a light cardboard piece to carefully smooth out as many bubbles as you can (the type of cardboard that is the backing for action figure toys is about the thickness and hardness you'd want).

Fantastic protection for the NanoApr 25, 2006

Since I'm often heading out on lengthy trips, I wanted something that would protect my Nano even when packed in a suitcase or carryon. The iSnug works best. It's got two cases in one: the outer padded case and the inner black skin. I like this product so much that when I upgraded to the 60GB, I called to get another iSnug to fit it. I waited, since the new one for the 60GB hadn't been released yet, and am as happy with this one as with my Nano iSnug. It's a great product.

Ths protective case is awesome for storage, trips, etc. The product is a hard case with room for headphone storage. It also comes with a soft case for the ipod and the clear protective sticky sheets. I am very satisfied with this product and all of the isnug products for the nano.

This is a great case for someone who travels and "throws things around." It's good to know that the Nano can be protected as long as it's in the case.

I really like this, it keeps all items in one place. I don't worry about dropping my ipod (I never have) and have it damaged. Fits in the palm of my hand, so it's not bulky.
