I am pleased with this product. It is sturdy, holds up my heavy 17" monitor, and seemed to be the best deal of its sort on Amazon - i scrutinized several models. I wish it were a bit easier to adjust, but in truth I don't need to do that much.

4It's alright, but still not perfectJun 28, 2011

This has two cooling fans, which really do their job. The joints of the legs have clicky kind of button. You push the silver-looking button, and you adjust the legs to your preferred angles. My only gripe is that it didn't turn out to be that steady as I expected it to be. I thought it wouldn't budge at all, but if you shake it with your hand, you can feel it moves quite a bit. Also the bottom leg doesn't have a rubber that could have made it slide-resistant. It seems it slides on plastic surfaces (for example, my desk is plastic; lifetime btw) if I push around. But I'm keeping it because I like the cooling feature, and I also need this because I have a long upper body, which means I need the screen to be at a higher level than at a normal-desk height. Anyone with neck/spine problem, I would recommend this. But think twice, and read other reviews to see if the steadiness is just about what you want.

I new when i opened the box this was going to be a bad experience, it lasted just about a month. For the price it should have been better constructed. Flimsy plastic just couldn't take the every other third day of use. Total waste of money, get the real here. I don't give this product any stars and would advize against buying this product.....

2Too FragileMar 31, 2012

This review might have been a 4 or 5 star had the product lasted longer. I bought it, loved, it and carried it with me when I had to take my laptops to meetings. However, when a friend attempted to get grab it from my car for me, they gently pulled outward (I was watching) on one of the legs and it snapped (broke) right off. It took me a couple of weeks to hunt down my receipt and the company contact info, but that put me reporting it a few days after their 60 day (or was it 90 day?) warranty expired. (So if I hadn't waited a week to look up the company info I may have been able to get a replacement.) That just tells me that they know that they are fragile and likely to break which is why they have such a short warranty period. If they would have replaced it anyway, I would have bought a couple more for gifts for my family.

Much of the music I buy these days is in a digital format. In the past I would print the scores but as the laptop became more central as both the management of scores and recording I needed a better way to merge the two at the keyboard. Velcroed atop my piano and easily adjusted the laptop stand is a convenient music holder for printed and digital scores alike. It also locates the laptop conveniently for recording.
