Take a look at this!Dec 10, 2009
By B. Cales I decided to add some pictures that I took from home of the flashlight. I absolutely love it! Lately, I've been trying to make sure that my emergency kit in both my home and car, have everything I could possibly need. This flashlight meets a few requirements I needed. It has a built in compass, which is genius to have in an emergency kit, the head of the flashlight is strong enough to break glass-if you happened to be trapped in your car, etc., but the the best part is that it can charge in your car and run for 2-3 hours. It feels nice in my hand-not to heavy, but it doesn't feel cheap either. That's something I constantly worry about when buying things online. I was very happy wiht this product and thought I would share some photos that were not on the Manufacturer's site.

Poor QualityDec 24, 2010
By dnt1740 A friend has a flashlight similar to this and I thought it was a great gift idea. I ordered 15 of these to to give as gifts.
The first one I took out of the box came apart at the wrong location and pieces flew everywhere. A wire came loose and it then stopped working. The directions state: "Unscrewing other sections of the flashlight other than the cap, may damage the flashlight and cause it to be inoperable. Only the cap should be removed." The problem is the spot where the light is supposed to come apart is right next to the spot where it is not supposed to come apart. So as a new owner I couldn't tell the difference.
I tried four more and of those another one had the same problem so I used a pair of pliers to hold the base so I could unscrew the cap at the right location. Then I tightened the base in an attempt to fix the problem. No luck.
I can't imagine giving these as gifts when 2 of 5 exhibit poor quality. I did not even get around to trying to plug them into a charger or opening the remaining 10 to test them. I am returning all 15.

Pretty good LED flashlightJun 25, 2010
By J. A. Keller I'm not crazy about the compass but it might be something someone likes. The rechargable nature of it is what attracted my attention. I put it in my car as it charges in the car. It's really bright and seems to be pretty well constructed.

product not workingNov 18, 2010
By robby dude So I got my flash light today and from the start it took me a while to figure out how to unscrew it. It was so tight that it kept unscrewing the wrong part. When i finally got it undone I noticed that there were no water proof rubber seems around the areas that unscrew. The pictures show it has it but mine does not. The flash light feels pretty sturdy but I don't know how well the light is on it seeing as mine wont charge. they should have put a light on it that tells you when its charging so I can tell if it is. I would return it but I don't feel like spending the money on shipping. I am highly disappointed and the only reason I gave it 2 starts is because the flashlight does feel sturdy and not cheap. I would not buy another one for myself or anyone else.
