Sway Personal Care Arched Back Stretcher (Black)

SKU:

02606

This product is currently out of stock
Description:

Lying across the Back Stretcher allows the spine to open out gradually, freeing the discs that have been compressed against each other all day. Arched back support for lumbar and spinal health. Start with shorter sessions of just a couple minutes and gradually build up to 10-20 minutes per session. The secret with the back stretcher is frequent short sessions, not occasional long session. 1. Start seated on the floor aligning the bony part of your spine with the center of the Stretcher to allow the vertebrae to rest in the channel. 2. Lie back slowly and relax. Bend your knees and bring your feet closer in if that is more comfortable. 3. Increase the stretch as you become accustomed to the Back Stretcher. Your bottom will be sitting on the end of the Stretcher at the height of the stretch.

5A comfortable and non expensive way to stretch/relax one's backApr 06, 2010
This product offers and easy and "cheap" way to relax one's back muscles without
the need for big or expensive machines. Anyone can use.

3no detailed intructions includedNov 24, 2009
This product looks simple, but after trying it, I was wondering what I had done wrong. I was left with a back feeling worse than when I started. There are not even photos to give you a clue to how to use it. The product is shaped with one end wider. Does that end go under your hips or under the upper part of your back to stabilize yourself? Should you bend your knees, or is it better to have them straight? Should you hips be at the 'bottom' of the stabilizer, or should you 'float' over the middle of it? (It is a very long product, so it seemed too long for my back--I am an average sized woman, 5'4".) Should you use a pillow to support your head, or is it not recommended? How long should you lay on it? Should you allow a 'get used to it' period, meaning should you start with a shorter time at the beginning, and increase the time with more use of it? I was very sad to have purchased an item which should theoretically help me, and to end up with more back discomfort as a result of using it.
